The Embassy of Japan in Kazakhstan on December 6, 2018 held an annual reception in honor of the birthday of his Majesty the Emperor of Japan. On 23^rd of December, his Majesty Emperor Akihito will be 85 years old. Next year he will celebrate his 35th anniversary on the throne. On 30^th April next year, he will abdicate, and on 1^st of May, the crown Prince will ascend to the throne.
